Sintoque. Sintoque. Wake up.
Sintoque awoke suddenly from his daze, jet black pupils retracting from its dilated state. He had been underwater in Deep Ocean, lying alongside the proteums, for too long. Far too long. His skin was clammy and yellowing from lack of sunlight. Sintoque’s body posture looked worn down, and he couldn’t find the energy to do anything.
Sintoque raised his Enforcer Gun to shoot down the mobs of proteums… but it wasn’t enough. The proteums were just sitting there, innocent. Sintoque could shoot at these spawning proteums forever, and yet still have to shoot for an indefinite amount of time.
And there is another way.
Sintoque looked askance to the halberd that lay beside him. The blood that had once stained it had washed off entirely. The distorted, mutated form of itblobboy remained, however. It seemed to be calling out to Sintoque, urging him to pick it up and induce terror on the weakling proteums.
But Sintoque had experienced the halberd’s power already. It had been too great. After covering up his second murder, Sintoque had dropped the halberd, vowing never to use it again.
But there it lay. Its aura was so great, pulling Sintoque in like a magnet. It shone brightly, like a spark of fire in the deep nights of the Haunted Woods.
Sintoque tore his eyes away from it, shooting his gun at the proteums. One by one, they fell. But they kept spawning. And spawning.
Sintoque’s eyes flared red.
“Oh, screw it all,” Sintoque muttered, and eagerly reached for the magical halberd, grabbing it by itblobboy’s limp, disformed arms.
Immediately, Sintoque flared with power. He raised the halberd, and the proteums all exploded. All proteums. They would never spawn again.
Sintoque, eyes gleaming silver, the color of the bloodied halberd, twirled it with one finger.
At last, Sintoque. You will have great power. You have made the right choice.
Sintoque, halberd resting on his shoulder, set out for Aqualantis with pointed teeth and a demonic look on his face.
