Kettle Logic

Kettle logic is an "informal fallacy" (fallacious intentionally), and is basically using contradictory points to defend a position.

For example:
Joe wants to defend his position that he didn't break the cookie jar.
"I didn't try to steal a cookie!"
"The cookie jar was already broken when I saw it!"
"I used a sturdy chair and was very safe about taking the cookie, so I obviously didn't break it."

These three arguments are inconsistent with each other, and therefore this logic is faulty.
