Just do all the things that I don't do, and you'll be fine.
1) Add lots of visuals. This encourages the reader to keep on scrolling to see pictures, as pictures are more appealing than words. Pictures also advertise your website on Google Images if it's viewed enough.
2) Don't add huge chunks of text in a serif font. Like I did. This makes long blocks of texts harder to read. Use a "sans serif" font (the fonts without the little mark at the beginning and end of each letter).
3) Don't go adding advertisements in your blog if you actually want people to enjoy it, and not want to make money off of it. If you can do both, great. But ads get annoying and cause lag...so you probably won't be able to do both.
4) Using HTML script adds a professional look to your blog. However, if you can't do it, like me, that's fine.
5) Make your blog organized. Labels are fine, but having a bunch of tabs at the top encourages readers to explore the blog more and has a cleaner look than labels.
6) Personalize it. Have a lot of character to it, and make it seem yours. Don't just copy off of someone else's blog, be inspired by them.
7) Have fun with your blog. That's the only way you'll continue to post and get views and stuff.
